A stacked payment calculator adds every merchant cash advance debit on one account. It turns daily and weekly pulls into one daily figure and divides it by your average daily deposits. That ratio is often called leverage. It shows how much of each deposit dollar goes to advances now, and after a new one.

Enter your numbers to see results.

Results are estimates. Funders set the actual terms, and every offer is subject to funder underwriting. Nothing you type is stored or sent; the page address holds your numbers so you can share them.

What you enter

List each open advance on its own row. Every box is your input.

  • Payment and schedule: the debit amount, and whether it is pulled each business day or once a week.
  • Balance left to pay: from your latest statement or a payoff letter.
  • Monthly true deposits: revenue deposits only, without transfers between your accounts, funding proceeds or refunds.
  • Business days in the month and debit days per week: from your own bank calendar.
  • Proposed new payment: optional, to see what one more position would add.

The tool does not read your average daily balance or NSF count. Funders look at both, so keep them at hand.

The formulas

  • Daily equivalent of each debit: a daily debit counts as is; a weekly debit counts as weekly payment / debit days per week
  • Total daily debits: the sum of every daily equivalent
  • Average daily deposits: monthly true deposits / business days in the month
  • Leverage now: L = total daily debits / average daily deposits
  • Leverage with the proposed advance: (total daily debits + new daily equivalent) / average daily deposits
  • Remaining payback: the sum of every balance left to pay
  • Business days to clear each advance: its balance / its daily equivalent. The last one to clear sets when all are done, at current debits.

Worked example

Round numbers picked so the math is easy to check by hand. They are not typical terms and not a quote. Two open advances, $120,000 in monthly true deposits over 21 business days, a 5-day debit week, and a proposed new advance of $250 each business day.

  • Advance 1: $400 daily, so $400 a day; $18,000.00 left, so 18,000 / 400 = 45 business days to clear
  • Advance 2: $1,500 weekly, so 1,500 / 5 = $300.00 a day; $30,000.00 left, so 30,000 / 300 = 100 business days to clear
  • Total daily debits = 400 + 300 = $700.00
  • Average daily deposits = 120,000 / 21 = $5,714.29
  • Leverage now = 700 / 5,714.29 = 12.3%
  • With the proposed advance = (700 + 250) / 5,714.29 = 16.6%
  • Remaining payback = 18,000 + 30,000 = $48,000.00; all clear in about 100 business days at current debits

Contract clauses to check before another position

Leverage is only part of the picture. Read these clauses in each current contract before you sign a new one. Each links to its entry in the MCA glossary.

FAQ

What leverage is too high?

The tool does not draw a line. Each funder sets its own limit, and the limits differ. The number shows what share of your deposits already goes to advances, so you can weigh it against your other bills.

Why convert weekly debits to a daily figure?

Adding daily and weekly amounts together as is would mix periods. Dividing a weekly debit by the debit days in a week puts every advance on the same footing.

Can a stacked file still get offers?

It depends on each funder's box. List every open position in your application. The desk sends the file only to funders whose box allows that many positions. Offers stay subject to funder underwriting.

Is anything I enter kept?

No. The math runs in your browser and nothing is stored or sent. Your numbers live in the page address only.
