How much will each MCA payment take from my deposits?
Owners: see what each MCA payment takes from your own deposits.
An MCA payment calculator shows what one advance pulls from your account. With a fixed debit, divide the total payback by the number of payments. With a holdback, multiply the holdback percentage by your sales for each period. Then set that payment against your average daily deposits to see the share it takes and the cash left.

Results are estimates. Funders set the actual terms, and every offer is subject to funder underwriting. Nothing you type is stored or sent; the page address holds your numbers so you can share them.
Two ways an advance is repaid
Most offers use one of two methods. Pick the one your offer names.
- Fixed debit: the same amount leaves your account each business day or each week, whatever your sales were.
- Holdback: a set percentage of each period's card sales or deposits goes to the funder, so the payment rises and falls with sales. This runs through a split with your card processor or a lockbox account.
Every box is your input. The tool does not guess your sales or your offer.
The formulas
T is total payback, A the advance amount, F the factor rate, N the number of payments, h the holdback percentage and S your sales for one period.
- Total payback, if you only know the advance and factor rate: T = A x F
- Fixed debit payment: P = T / N
- If you know the term in months instead of N: N = months x payments per year / 12, where payments per year are debit days per week x 52, or 52 for weekly
- Weekly equivalent of a daily debit: P x debit days per week
- Daily equivalent of a weekly debit: P / debit days per week
- Holdback payment for one period: h x S
- Periods to pay back T with a holdback: T / (h x S), if S stays the same
- Average daily deposits: monthly true deposits / business days in the month
- Share of deposits: daily payment / average daily deposits
- Cash left each day: average daily deposits - daily payment - other daily debits you enter
True deposits leave out transfers between your own accounts, funding proceeds and refunds. Using total deposits makes the share look smaller than it is.
Worked example
Round numbers picked so the math is easy to check by hand. They are not typical terms and not a quote. Total payback of $52,000.00 ($40,000 x 1.3), with $90,000 in monthly true deposits over 21 business days.
Fixed debit, 130 daily payments on a 5-day debit week:
- P = 52,000 / 130 = $400.00 each business day
- Weekly equivalent = 400 x 5 = $2,000.00
- Average daily deposits = 90,000 / 21 = $4,285.71
- Share of deposits = 400 / 4,285.71 = 9.3%
- Cash left each day = 4,285.71 - 400 = $3,885.71
Holdback of 10% on $3,000 in sales each business day:
- Payment = 0.10 x 3,000 = $300.00 each business day
- Periods to pay back = 52,000 / 300 = 173.3 business days, if sales stay the same
- Share of deposits = 300 / 4,285.71 = 7.0%
What the share does not tell you
The share of deposits is one number. It does not know your rent, payroll or slow months. The bank statement guide shows how funders find true deposits. A holdback payment moves with sales, while a fixed debit does not, so a slow month hits a fixed debit harder. If you carry more than one advance, add them all with the stacked payment calculator. The holdback percentage guide explains how a holdback is set.
FAQ
What is the difference between a daily and a weekly debit?
A daily debit pulls a smaller amount on each business day. A weekly debit pulls one larger amount once a week. The weekly total can be the same, but the timing changes how much cash sits in your account.
Why does a holdback advance have no fixed end date?
The payment is a share of sales, so the term depends on how much you sell. Slower sales mean smaller payments and a longer term. The tool shows the number of periods only for the sales figure you enter.
Does the calculator tell me when funding arrives?
No. It shows payments only. Each funder sets its own review time, and we do not promise a timeline.
Is my information saved?
No. The math runs in your browser, and nothing is stored or sent. Your numbers sit in the page address, so you can bookmark or share them.
